Referral program terms
Last updated: 2026-09-17.
Short version: bring a friend to Zero to Hero and 20% of every payment they make comes off your own subscription, for as long as you both stay subscribed. It is a discount on what you pay, never money out; it is capped per year; and public posts with your code must be marked as advertising. The specifics are below.
1. Who can take part
Anyone with an active Zero to Hero subscription, aged 18 or over, with one account. You accept these terms in the app when you get your referral code. You can stop at any time by simply not sharing your code; earnings already recorded are still honoured under section 4.
2. What counts as a referral
A new subscriber who opens your referral link, or types your code into the “Referral code” field at checkout, and completes their first paid payment. A subscriber has one referrer, fixed at that first checkout, and it never changes. Referring yourself, an existing subscriber, or an account you control does not count and voids your code.
3. What you earn
20% of the amount actually paid on each of your referral’s invoices, after any discount on that invoice and before payment processing fees. At $19 a month that is $3.80 per referral per month. A $0 invoice earns nothing. You earn on every invoice for as long as the referred subscription stays active and your own subscription is active at the time of that invoice; a month in which your own subscription has lapsed is forfeited, not deferred. The rate may change for future invoices with notice under section 8; earnings already recorded keep their rate.
4. How the earnings are applied
As a discount on your own subscription, and in no other way. On the first of each month, your recorded earnings are added as a discount line to your next Zero to Hero invoice, up to the price of that invoice. Your invoice never goes below zero. Earnings that do not fit stay recorded and are applied in a later month when there is room.
Yearly limit. The discount you receive is limited to $190 per calendar year (1 January to 31 December). Once you reach it, earnings keep being recorded but no further discount is applied until the next year.
Nothing is ever transferred to you: no cash, no bank transfer, no store credit, no balance you can withdraw. Earnings have no value outside your own Zero to Hero subscription.
5. Refunds and reversals
If a referred payment is refunded or disputed, the earning from it is reversed. If a discount had already been applied for it, we may deduct the amount from your future earnings. Recurring reversals or chargebacks connected to your code can end your participation.
6. How you may share your code
Share it with people you actually know, in your own words. When you post it publicly (social media, videos, blogs, forums), the post must be marked as advertising, and the label must be the first thing visible: “reklame” or “annonse” in Norwegian, “advertising” or “advertisement” in English. “Affiliate link” is not a valid label. This follows the Norwegian Marketing Control Act and the Consumer Authority’s guidance, and the equivalent rules where you live.
Do not: post the code on coupon or deal sites; buy ads on the Zero to Hero or Nekh’s Language Blueprint name; send unsolicited messages; or promise results (nobody becomes fluent in 30 days). Breaking these rules voids your code and any earnings not yet applied, and can end your participation.
7. Privacy
We record who referred whom in order to apply your discount. You see counts and amounts, never your referrals’ names or emails. Your referrals see that a code was applied at checkout, not who you are. See the privacy policy.
8. Changes and ending the program
We may change the rate, the yearly limit or these terms, or end the program, with 30 days’ notice by email and in the app. Earnings recorded before the change are applied under the terms in force when they were recorded, subject to the yearly limit. Fraud or abuse can end participation immediately.
9. Contact
Questions about your earnings? Email hello@nekhslanguageblueprint.com from the address on your account. These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
